#2070: Marine Links MH17 ad hoc Waypoint to Serco Red Switch guest-room Clock and ITT Hijack Hotel

Plum City – (  United States Marine Field McConnell has linked the ad hoc waypoint allegedly uploaded into the Boeing Honeywell Uninterruptible Autopilot of MH Flight 17 prior to the crash near Donetsk on July 17, to Serco's Red Switch Network GPS clock which hijack "experts of unknown provenance" apparently used as guests of Starwood (was ITT Sheraton) hotels in Amsterdam, Warsaw and Kuala Lumpur.

McConnell claims that David "Riot Club" Cameron (Treasury 1990-93) and Nicholas Soames (UK Minister of Defence 1994-1997) ordered Serco and ITT Sheraton to set up a Red Switch Network base for Bill Clinton at the Democratic Party Convention in 1996 in Chicago where his selected guests could later check into 5-star hotels around the world and synchronize Boeing ad-hoc waypoint hijacks with expert production of wag the dog stories.

While there are various questions that have already emerged from what was supposed to be Ukraine's "slam dunk" proof confirming Russian rebel involvement in today's MH-17 tragedy, perhaps one just as gaping question emerges when one looks at what is clearly an outlier flight path in today's final, and tragic, departure of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777.

Perhaps the best visualization of what the issue is, comes from Vagelis Karmiros who has collated all the recent MH-17 flight paths as tracked by Flightaware and shows that while all ten most recent paths pass safely well south of the Donetsk region, and cross the zone above the Sea of Azov, it was only today's tragic flight that passed straight overhead Donetsk.
Why is the diversion from the traditional flight path and passage over the highlighted zone a concern? Because as the following map from the WSJ shows this is precisely where the restricted airspace is.
So perhaps before coming to "certain" conclusion about the involvement of this rebel or that, the key questions one should ask before casting blame, is why did the pilot divert from his usual flight plan, why did he fly above restricted airspace, and just what, if any instructions, did Kiev air control give the pilot in the minutes before the tragic explosion?"

Providing this integrated emergency response coordination system reflects the Exelis commitment to extend leadership in the strategic growth area of critical networks.

"The benefit of such application allows for resources at airports to enhance command and control capability which assists skilled personnel at the airports during an incident."

The Alarmon product at each airport provides an integrated console, and the system has the capability for remote operators to log on as local operators. This enables all of the communications assets, local procedures, numbers and contact personnel to be available through the touch screen-based application as though the operators were physically at the remote location. Information available includes radios, public address systems, telephony, mobile phones, and building fire alarms. The console enables monitoring of aircraft communications, ARFF communications for personnel and vehicles, monitoring of building fire alarms, control facilities, and true command and control capability to manage real-time emergency response events at airports.

Airservices Australia and Exelis C4i won the "Technical Achievement" award for Alarmon and its contribution to efficiency and safety at airports by the Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Working Group (ARFFWG) in 2010. ARFFWG is a nonprofit international organization dedicated to the sharing of ARFF information among airport firefighters, municipal fire departments, and all others concerned with aircraft fire fighting.

"The Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) is a dedicated telephone network which provides global secure communication services for the command and control structure of the United States Armed Forces. The network is maintained by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and is secured for communications up to the level of Top Secret SCI.

The DRSN provides multilevel secure voice and voice-conferencing capabilities to the National Command Authority (NCA, being the President and the Secretary of Defense of the United States), the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the National Military Command Center (NMCC), Combatant Commanders and their command centers, warfighters, other DoD agencies, government departments, and NATO allies.

Department of Defense and federal government agencies can get access to the network with approval of the Joint Staff.[2] Upon approval by the Joint Staff, DISA will work with the customer and the appropriate military department to arrange the service.[3]

The Defense Red Switch Network consists of four major subsystems: the Switching Subsystem, the Transmission Subsystem, the Timing [using Serco NPL clock] and Synchronization Subsystem, and the Network Management Subsystem. The Switching Subsystem uses both RED and BLACK switches to provide an integrated RED/BLACK service. End users are provided with a single telephone instrument with which they can access both secure and nonsecure networks.

The DRSN carried around 15,000 calls per day prior to September 11, 2001. DRSN usage subsequently peaked at 45,000 calls per day and by mid-2003 was running at around 25,000 calls per day. In that period the Defense Red Switch Network was expanded to support 18 additional US Federal Homeland Defense initiatives.[4]

Nowadays, this network is also called the Multilevel Secure Voice service. It's the core of the Global Secure Voice System (GSVS) during peacetime, crisis and time of conventional war, by hosting national-level conferencing and connectivity requirements and providing interoperability with both tactical and strategic communication networks.[5]"

The Sheraton Chicago Hotels & Towers will serve as headquarters for President Barack Obama during the NATO/G8 summits in May.

The hotel, which has three presidential suites, each with a separate parlor and conference table for 12, has plenty of experience handling high-profile guests in town for heady events.

The Sheraton served as headquarters to former President Bill Clinton during the 1996 Democratic Convention and during the Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue in 2002, and it's been the hotel of choice for the former president for events related to his Clinton Global Initiative.

In September, the Sheraton was the site of a high-profile fundraiser for Mr. Obama's re-election bid.

Now that the president has settled on a home base for the mid-May summits, hotels are hoping the rest of the G8 delegations — the delegations hoteliers care about most — will fall in accordingly.

There's been some jockeying as to who would be willing to stay in the same hotel as whom — does anyone want to stay with the Russians?

Dignitaries have made verbal commitments, but they haven't yet signed on the dotted line.

Each ground station around the world had to be surveyed in order to develop detailed installation plans, project support agreements and testing plans. 

Furthermore, to assure communications reliability between the ground station and the operational control nodes, Serco also had to conduct a complete circuit testing exercise.
In developing this enhanced voice and data communications network, Serco's team engineered and implemented an ATM backbone and secure voice system for each of the AFSCN ground stations. The installed network was based on a Wide Area Network (WAN) architecture utilizing IP based network capabilities and proprietary secure communication technologies such as KG-75s, KG-84S and KIV-7s. In addition, Serco ensured Defense Red Switch Network connectivity and operations throughout the AFSCN [and the global matrix of Red Switch guest rooms in 4 or 5 star hotel affiliated with the Starwood Sheraton chain]"
