Thank you, but it was not Mr. Bickers or Ms. Bone to whom I refer although foreign citizen Bone should recall Peacock and who visited on 11 Sept 2001.
Let us not forget who the father of this fly-by-wire system was, this system that trusted computers and distrusted pilots. What could cause a pilot to be so distrustful of pilots? In 1961, Bernard Ziegler was a French Air Force pilot. He buzzed a French ski resort (reports say his father was vacationing there) and clipped a cable car - the Vallée Blanche Aerial Tramway - causing three cable cars to crash. Six people were killed.
My father was flying at Westover AFB in Massachusetts at the time and I had a model of an AGM 28 HOUND DOG on my desk in my room. We took note of this as an example of sheer stupidity and irresponsibility which should result in a court-martial. But no. Ziegler's father was too influential. Instead of being put in jail, he was first made a French Air Force test pilot and then senior vice president of engineering at Airbus, which leads to RAF Oakhanger which leads to Serco which leads to MH370 and MH17 as I explained to MAS and Emirates.
Does it make sense that a pilot so stupid as to buzz a ski resort might develop great distrust in his own judgment? Yes. But does it make sense that one pilot so stupid should then figure that all pilots are equally stupid? No. But he did. The answer to his own bad judgment is to have the computer prevent bad judgment. Voilà: the computer-controlled pilot. Hence John McCain's support of Airbus. McCain crashed 5 times, I crashed zero times.
Now, when the computer screws up or moves into non-standard operation, the pilot's job is compounded. He now not only has to fly a partially crippled plane but must figure out as well what the computer may be trying to do to kill him. At least in "2001: A Space Odyssey," when a computer is trying to kill the human, the human, can pull the plug on it.
Zeigler didn't allow that. This same author wrote in glowing terms how the Airbus fly-by-wire produced the "miracle on the Hudson." Not true. Because Sullenberger did not out-think the computer, his Airbus hit the water three times harder than the fuselage was designed to withstand. The rear fuselage broke open, submerging passengers in the rear of the plane. Had Sullenberger been flying a conventional airliner, he could have simply flown it and flared before touching down in the Hudson. But with the Airbus, Sullengerger couldn't out-think the Airbus in an unusual situation.
Neither could the pilots of AF 447. Nor the FRENCH TEST PILOTS in this video:
First Airbus A320 Crash - French Air show
Let's appreciate Bernard Ziegler's accomplishment for what it is: castration by computer. On the other hand, here is a safety report regarding an Air Astana A320 intentionally loaded with unsafe extreme aft CG and an improper THS setting was supplied to crew. The weather was horseshit, the Russian copilot had horrid English, but yet a NORTHWEST AIRLINES TRAINED Airbus Captain flew out of what can only be characterized as an 'aviation hit'. Unlike the Frog Bus Busters or Forrest Fire McCain, the captain who saved the Kazak A320 had U S Navy training background and took care of business. Here is an example of some of his NAVY TRAINED, Marine influenced flying:
Field McConnell's Jet goes on display at the Canton Texas Veterans Memorial
When I was in Malaysia 17-20 April to explain to MAS and government officials how MH370 was landed safely at FJDG the Malaysian government representative, singular, said "we should sue Boeing". I told him that Boeing is not the problem, they announced the deployment of BUAP on 3 March, 2007 when I filed and if Malaysia were to sue Boeing I would be a witness that Boeing is not negligent, ALPA is.

The problem is GAPAN, Serco, and ALPA in my non-humble opinion.

For Allison Bone and Andrew Peacock:
Thank you for your interest, here is the video that inspired Emirates, Virgin Atlantic and [ redacted ] to consider the ramifications of the information contained in CIVIL CASE 1:08-1600 (RMC). That case was filed in September, 2008, dismissed in an AGGRAVATED Fraud Upon The Court in January, 2011 and will be heard again.
In the video amongst the names of ALPA Attornies related to this alleged fraud is the name Susan Kalfus. That is not her correct first name, should be Suzanne Kalfus who was the lead attorney after Rob Plunkett was gagged by the other attornies, in my humble opinion.
ALPA's "fraud doctors" have been hit on the nose with a rolled up newspaper and chief amongst the fraud doctors are Michael Berry and Warren Silberman. Notice, for the record, I did not mention Dr. Elliott the ALPA fraud doctor that ALPA thought I had an appointment with on 1,2 March 2007.
My term AGGRAVATED FRAUD pertains to the wrongful deaths aboard these flights were taken down after my 10 December, 2006 warning to ALPA: Adam Air 507, Kenya 507, Colgan 3407, Air France 447, Turkish 1951, Air Afriyah 771, Sukhoi Superjet Indonesia May '12, MH370, MH17 and the current "Airbus at risk" containing MSN 1114.
