21st Century Wire says…
Whereas before, Washington insisted that the new Iraq-Syria War was about destroying ISIS/ISIL, this week President Obama ditched any pretense of a humanitarian intervention, lobbying openly to ramp-up his 'Sand Pirate' proxy war in Syria – to achieve a 'regime change'.
The White House continues to make claims that this will not be a prolonged open-ended conflict, but we've heard all this before…
Continued US-led airstrikes on Syria and Iraq will only embolden multinational jihadists as they have through history when foreign invaders seek to dominate Middle Eastern and Central Asian lands.
Add Russia to the US and NATO's new list of 'evil doers', and at the very least, we have a new Cold War-style arms race, and at most – a powder keg waiting to erupt…
The rhetoric in Russia has been heating up lately with Vladimir Putin recently giving a speech in which he warned that playtime between the East and West is over. And while things between the United States and the former Soviet Union have always been tense, this time Putin might really mean it.
Unreported by the American mainstream media is the fact that the Russian economy, along with its currency the Ruble, is collapsing because of Western sanctions enacted following Russia's annexation of Crimea earlier this year. First, the West's banking system attacked the private financial holdings of Russian politicians and businessmen.
There were even rumors that the U.S. would target Putin's $40 billion personal fortunate held abroad. Then, Europe and the U.S. enacted trade restrictions on Russia, essentially crippling their internationally dependent commerce system.
If history is any guide, the economic disaster in Russia could well be the catalyst Putin needs to motivate his people into a nationalistic frenzy that demonizes western nations and the United States in particular.
But before we put all of the blame on Putin and his obvious desire to restore Russia's super power status on the world stage, it's important to note that his recent actions have not taken place in a vacuum, nor are they strictly related to the events currently playing out in the Ukraine.
The roadmap to World War 3 was conceptualized long ago, and like the buildup to the Great War of 1914, the causes and catalysts are multi-faceted and encompass not just a few countries, but the entire global paradigm.

Who Will Have The Last Laugh?
Putin laughs in face of a journalist (ENG subtitle) about the anti missile system
Thus far, America has never in recent times done battle against a real military. Russia made an active demonstrated threat last April that never made the mainstream press which no doubt proves that Russia and all current Russian allies can probably blow the U.S. Navy away.
What frightened the USS Donald Cook so much in the Black Sea?
The State Department acknowledged that the crew of the destroyer USS Donald Cook has been gravely demoralized ever since their vessel was flown over in the Black Sea by a Russian Sukhoi-24 (Su-24) fighter jet which carried neither bombs nor missiles but only an electronic warfare device.
On 10 April 2014, the USS Donald Cook entered the waters of the Black Sea and on 12 April a Russian Su-24 tactical bomber flew over the vessel triggering an incident that, according to several media reports, completely demoralized its crew, so much so that the Pentagon issued a protest.
US destroyer Donald Cook enters Black Sea amid Ukraine tension
The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) is a 4th generation guided missile destroyer whose key weapons are Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,500 kilometers, and capable of carrying nuclear explosives. This ship carries 56 Tomahawk missiles in standard mode, and 96 missiles in attack mode.
The US destroyer is equipped with the most recent Aegis Combat System. It is an integrated naval weapons system which can link together the missile defense systems of all vessels embedded within the same network, so as to ensure the detection, tracking and destruction of hundreds of targets at the same time. In addition, the USS Donald Cook is equipped with 4 large radars, whose power is comparable to that of several stations. For protection, it carries more than fifty anti-aircraft missiles of various types.
Meanwhile, the Russian Su-24 that buzzed the USS Donald Cook carried neither bombs nor missiles but only a basket mounted under the fuselage, which, according to the Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta , contained a Russian electronic warfare device called Khibiny.
As the Russian jet approached the US vessel, the electronic device disabled all radars, control circuits, systems, information transmission, etc. on board the US destroyer. In other words, the all-powerful Aegis system, now hooked up - or about to be - with the defense systems installed on NATO’s most modern ships was shut down, similar to turning off the TV set with the remote control.

The Russian Su-24 then simulated a missile attack against the USS Donald Cook, which was left literally deaf and blind. As if carrying out a training exercise, the Russian aircraft - unarmed - repeated the same maneuver 12 times before flying away.

This confirms that Russia has an inexpensive plane mounted device that can incapacitate the Navy and allow even an insignificant military force to blow it away. GAME CHANGER. Discuss this on the forum
